APRON AND PANS - THREE ENVELOP CROCK POT ROAST
Ingredients
3 lb roast (beef or pork) such as chuck roast
1 pkg dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 pkg dry ranch salad dressing mix
1 pkg dry brown gravy mix
1 cup water
Bag of Carrots
Potatoes (as many as you like)
1 large onion cut in wedges
Preparation
Place roast in crockpot, followed by carrots, potatoes and onion.
Mix 1 cup of water with the three envelopes of mix. If you want to cut back on sodium, use only 1/2 or 3/4 of each packet.
Cook on high for four hours or low for 8.
Optionally, add 1/2 cup of either ketchup or barbecue sauce in with the liquid. You can also add a little red wine.
