Tiny Flutterings
Dear parents to adolescents, come close. Dear teachers, don't go too far please.
Dear parent, how have you prepared your child for this season? Will they be looking forward to a declaration of interest? Will they be longing for a gift from a secret admirer, male or female, to up their emotional tank gauge? Will they offer their bodies to the first sound of "I love you", even when the insincerity of such can be felt from a mile off? Have you stocked up on your child's emotional tank so much that they won't look for love in the wrong places? Note, both boys and girls are included here.
Dear teacher, what do you do when children in your class get Valentine's day gifts? Do you subject them to lengthy sermons on how they've become spoilt and rotten? Do you give them the evil Africa Magic mom's eye? Or, do you talk to them about how to properly channel these teenage and pre-teen raging hormones? Will you as a teacher give each child in your class a Valentine's gift? Even if it's only candy, but properly wrapped? Will you portray love to them the proper way?
