Second Half

I like beginnings. 

I like beginnings because they signify new chances. They put the full stop in an end, and turn the page. I like beginnings because they mean mistakes can be corrected. I like beginnings because they afford the chance to pause, take a rest and go at it again. 

In a flash, the first half of the year is gone! Within those first six months, there was a plethora of activities, sweet, bitter, happy, sad, name it. One significant thing for me is that July ushers in summer - that beautiful season of the year, that season of brightness, warmth, colours, relaxation, excitement, sharing, caring, laughter, making memories and a lot of love. 

The pains of the first half are lost in the beauty and energy of the second half. It's time to reset. It's time to seize the bull's horns, time to ride the waves and splash beautiful colors on the canvas of time. Look within, tap into your inner strength and pick up again. Failing is not a problem, being a failure is. 

The whistle on the first half was blown yesterday, that signifying the second half is blown today. All the players are running back onto the field, warming up for a better match. This is your time to prove your skills, this is your time to claim your cup, your moment of victory is here, don't get trudged on.
