Musing; Leap!
The world we live in is full of varieties. This, is said, is the spice of life. One of such varieties, happens every four years, today, being the day that gives this year its variety.
Something that tickles me is those that have birthdays on the 29th of February. Do they celebrate every four years? Do they move their birthday to the 28th of February or the 1st of March? How old are they really? Of a truth, variety is the spice of life.
I’m not one for superstitions, so February 29 does not hold any special meaning for me. It’s just one of the many wonders of a great God and nature, as far as I’m concerned. There may be scientific explanations, this is not the time for such debates.
What I’ll like to draw on, is the name we have chosen to give to this kind of year on our calendar. It is called a leap year. What are those things you need to leap over? What are those things you need to leave behind? What are those weights you need to shed? What habits do you need to leap over? There isn’t a better time than the present to take stock and make certain adjustments. Leap! Jump over those restrictions.
Happy Leap Year!

Thank you for the leap year write-up. So thoughtful. Yes, there is the need to leap out of clogs in the wheel of our progress.
