The Evolution of Ankara

As a young child, I knew the ankara fabric to be
used predominantly to sew iro and buba or kaba. They were so not attractive to the fashion-forward young ladies. Then, we blinked and when we opened our eyes, the ankara had taken on a whole new identity. From being paired with velvet, to lace, to linen, the styles you can turn out from the modern ankara are limitless. And, might I add that the designs are so so catchy and beautiful now? Skim through these pictures and pick styles that would fit you and positively stand you out at your next outing. Male, female, adult, children, there's something for everyone.

Now, complete the look with a beautiful Berakhah Ornaments piece, for that wow-ing effect.
