APRON AND PANS - LEMONADE

Yesterday, we considered the health benefits of lemon. I think it just fits to have a recipe for a lemon drink today. As the saying goes, when life hands you lemons, make refreshing, healthy and delicious lemonade. Grab your apron, get out your pan and get working!

INGREDIENTS (makes four cups)
Half cup sugar
1 and half cup fresh lemon juice (from about 9 lemons)


PREPARATION
Combine the sugar and half cup water in a saucepan. 
Bring to boil, stirring occasionally till the sugar is dissolved.
Allow to cool.
Pour the syrup in a pitcher or jug and add the lemon juice with 2.5 to 3 cups of water.
Serve on the rocks with your favorite snack.
