And you went and sat yourself in a corner.

Come out of there woman! Yes, you, woman of colour, come out here!

Stop believing the lies. Who says you're inferior? Who says you're not intelligent? Who says you can never achieve your goal?

And you believed them?! That is the only tragedy of the scenario. How can you believe such lies? Why will you write yourself off? Why will you cower because you're a woman of colour? If you were given the same opportunity with that other woman you consider better than you, you think you won't do well? And even better? Then you need to give it a try. Your inadequacies only exist in your mind. 

Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right.
