The Inexplicable
There is something just inexplicable about the Almighty. We call Him King (Earthly), we call Him Jehovah (somewhat Heavenly), but my fear is, we may never understand the vastness and perpetuity of His greatness and power. Scientists use the aphorism "if you cannot measure it, it’s not science" with which I totally agree — for the Almighty is a Spirit. Consequently, the equations of scientists cannot describe Him; He does not have a body for which you can quantify His mass or weight.
The more the Hubble telescope saw our universe, the less we seemed to know about our behemoth existence: remember our universe is made up of about 95% of dark energy and matter, while the physical (stars, planets, asteroids, animals, you, and I — among other things) our eyes and instruments can see make up 5% of the universe’s mass. Scientists trumpet the Big Bang as the instantaneous boom that brought about the existence of the living and non-living universe; however, they have yet to explain the source of the “pre-universe burst of energy” that brought our mother universe into being.
They have failed to seek answers from the Almighty who exists outside of our limiting space-time continuum. He is everywhere because He is neither limited by space nor time (remember, He is a Spirit). In the scientists' own words, "More is unknown than is known. We know how much dark energy there is because we know how it affects the universe's expansion (NASA)." Why do these same people find it difficult to equally believe in the existence of The Almighty God since we can see how He affects not only our physical lives but also our spiritual composition?
How can you prove the non-existence of the Deity that has a name in all languages of the world? Permit me to leave you with this quote from The Word For You Today by Bob and Debby Gass as I grind my litany to a halt: "Faith and reason are not necessarily opposed. But when reason won't take you another step, faith keeps on going because it connects you to God". God bless you richly!!! :)
Oluwaseyi Bolarinwa wrote in from Florida. In his words: "Some of my friends perceive me as an anomaly. If you care to know my opinion of myself: I am a playful, happy boy who likes to make others smile." He has a comic style of writing, adding humour to even the most serious topics.
