Abby Speaks; The Soul Of A Woman
The soul of a woman is where knowledge, wisdom and understanding reside. It is where her reasoning faculty is. The soul of a woman needs to be developed and invested in continuously for her to be relevant.
For a woman to be successful in any area of life, she must be a person of conviction. Someone with a mind of her own with the ability to process information and make informed decisions without the involvement of external forces. To be able to do this, a woman must know the importance of being in charge of her soul, tending and loving it consciously.
Ways by which a woman should love her soul are by broadening the scope of her knowledge and exposure so that she is informed. These can be achieved by being an avid reader.
Reading and traveling to foreign places help a woman to have a broad view of life. It is impossible for such a woman to be narrow minded and ignorant. It is by being presented with different view points and options, through reading, traveling and interacting with people that a woman that loves her soul, comes into her own. The exposure makes it necessary to develop personal conception of what is right and wrong, what she wants and does not want, how to be a better person, and so on. As a result of these, she develops personal convictions upon which she builds her life and individuality. Instead of being a person with no depth, always walking in the opinions and wishes of other people. Tossed around by doctrines and ideologies detrimental to her personal growth and advancement. A pleaser of men with nothing to be pleased about in her life.
Negative emotions like abuses, pain, sorrow, e.t.c and positive emotions like love, achievement, kindness, e.t.c are stored in our soul. Taking steps to heal and detox your soul of every negative experience is part of loving your soul. So also is making conscious efforts to surround yourself with and allow only positive emotions in your life to the best of your ability.
Self perception is in your soul. Being mindful of your soul and investing in it gives worth and dignity to your life. It gives your life a beauty beyond the physical, making you a force to be reckoned with.
Women of Substance, it is high time to consciously, with enthusiasm take up the responsibility of loving our soul by refreshing, restoring, healing, enhancing and empowering it continually as long as we live. For a well loved and tended soul is a happy and fulfilled soul.
Watch out for the continuation of this write up on loving your spirit. The first part is here.
Thank you, and remember, life is to be enjoyed and not to be endured!
